Terms and Conditions

  1. Taster Days, Elementary Pilot and Club Pilot courses and Tandem flights are valid for a year from the date of booking.
  2. Refunds are not available.
  3. Minimum age for paraglider training is 14. A parent or guardian must be present for the full duration of the training session for any participant under the age of 18.
  4. All persons paragliding in the UK must be members of the BHPA. One day introductory membership is included in the cost of the taster day and the paperwork for this is completed on the day. If you are going through the EP and CP courses then you must be a full member of the BHPA. You can do this before the training via the BHPA website or on the first day.
  5. If the participant on a Taster Day does not get to fly at all during the day, they may return within the one year validity period to reach this stage (at their earliest convenience), unless failure to reach this stage is due to the their late arrival, decision not to finish or aptitude during training. They will need to pay the BHPA introductory membership fee for the return visit.
  6. Your EP course will take you to Elementary level or up to a maximum of 6 days training, whichever occurs first.
  7. Your CP course will take you from EP level to the Club Pilot level or up to a maximum of 8 days training, whichever occurs first.
  8. If you don't complete the courses within the maximum number of training days then you revert to the daily rate for that level.
  9. Paragliding is inherently hazardous. Accidents can happen even during training where every effort is made to reduce the risks.
  10. It is illegal to be in control of any aircraft, including a paraglider, when adversely affected by alcohol or drugs.
  11. Flying Frenzy PARAGLIDING ltd. reserve the right to terminate any instruction or tandem flight briefing and flight at any time if we consider a participant unfit for any reason (including attending whilst inebriated or under the influence of drugs) or their conduct unsafe or inappropriate in any way.
